TOENDE STUDENTS UNION
TONSU is the acronym for TOENDE STUDENTS' UNION.
TOENDE STUDENTS' UNION is the student representative council of Bawku West District, Zebilla in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

TONSU is a non-political and non-religious student association that seeks to UNITE all past and present students in the district to see to it that the general welfare of students is properly put in place by the leaders in the district.
​
The union particularly gives back in education. There has been a consistent organization of FREE vacation classes for Senior High School students within the district from it inception till date.
The current leadership of TONSU has just introduce a FREE EXTRA CLASSES for the basics schools in the district and also a FREE REMEDIAL classes for its members who wants to write NOV/DEC exams.

Our motto is, UNITY & EDUCATION, OUR CONCERN.
TONSU has four major zones namely, Binaba zone, Gbantongo zone, Sapeliga zone and Zebilla zone of which the later is the central zone.
Membership is opened to all well meaning students who hail from the district and have gone or undergoing a secondary school education, its equivalent or above. Nonetheless, any individuals who shares same ideologies with can apply to become a member having satisfied our requirements.
